EDGARDO E. COLÓN
APPOINTED CHAIRMAN OF THE HARRIS COUNTY SPORTS & CONVENTION CORPORATION
On Tuesday, June 3, 2008, the
Harris County Commissioners Court unanimously approved Edgardo E. Colón's appointment as
Chairman of the Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation. The Harris County
Sports and Convention Corporation operates and develops various public facilities at
Reliant Park, including the Astrodome and Reliant Stadium. The corporation is a public,
not-for-profit corporation overseen by a five-member board of directors appointed by the
Harris County (Texas) Commissioners Court.
