construction contractor, an Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract of a $600
million mining (copper) project in Northern Chile.
Negotiated, on behalf of engineering and
construction contractor, the Project Management Agreement for a multibillion-dollar
project for the modernization of the Cantarell Field, Mexicos biggest oil field.
This project was partially financed by the Japanese EximBank.
Negotiated, on behalf of engineering and
construction contractor, lump sum, turn key (LSTK) Engineering, Procurement
and Construction contract for a $310 million Delayed Coker Project in St. Croix, USVI (for
a company formes by Amerada Hess and Petroleos de Venezuela). In addition to the contract
for the construction of the delayed coker unit itself, negotiated Engineering, Procurement
and Construction contract for additional work, such as a delayed coke handling, storage,
ship loading and marine facilities; a sour water stripper facility and an interconnecting
pipeline. The total amount for the project exceeded $450 million.
Negotiated, on behalf of engineering and
construction contractor, term sheet for an Engineering, Procurement and Construction
contract (LSTK, US$400 million) project for a build, own and operate project in Venezuela.
This also involved the preparation and negotiation of joint venture agreements to create a
construction consortium. This was a non-recourse project to be financed by US lenders.
Negotiated, on behalf of engineering and
construction contractor, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Agreement (LSTK,
US$172 million) project for the construction of a gas pipeline in Mérida, Mexico.
Negotiated, on behalf of engineering and
construction contractor, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Agreement (cost
reimbursable, US$243 million) for the expansion of a paraxylene facility.
Negotiated, on behalf of
engineering and construction contractor, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction
Agreement (LSTK, US$70 million project) for the construction of a herbicide production
plant in Argentina.
